Great intro to this series. So good that it's actually piqued my interest for the other installments here.
This one was heartbreakingly beautiful. Real. Poignant. And my heart responded to it.
I also love that everything here is seen through Adam's POV.
It has a great set up for all the characters and their own stories, while it didn't take too much away from our lead Hero, Adam and his personal struggles that begin to tell the tale of his plight & siblings. I really liked the romance here, though I wish there was more given in that department. Still, I liked what we got.
I would recommend this read. I'm definitely checking out book 2.
