WOW!! This book was riveting! I started this on last night and just finished it. If that tells you anything. I could not put this one down. It had me on edge, it was sexy, scary, intriguing, sad even.. A little. But it was action packed, to the point, but not coming off as cheesy or feeling rushed. Mencheres and Kira have great chemistry. I love kira. She was so the yin to his yang. And Vlad (aka Dracula) was hilarious!This one had a very interesting twist on the orgins of the vampires, where they came from how it all started.(cain's seed) and I love that Mencheres was a Pharoah before he was turned. Just the history of their stories and who these characters are made me care about where they ended up and how they got there. I highly recommend this one.
